Good morning... looking ahead again.

This is a typical morning for me. Up early to help with breakfast for my parents and then pray for guidance and use my mind to think of how I want to use this day that I've been given.

I really don't get into particulars though usually. I have a general idea of the specific things that need to get done but I am talking more about what my attitude is going to be toward whatever presents itself to me today.

Number one, I always ask myself "am I prepared for the unexpected?" whether "good" or "bad".

I pray for a peaceful and productive day. Productive in the sense that it is leading toward greater independence and freedom of mind, heart and soul.

I have a specific prayer each day to be a good steward of whatever financial and material gifts I have been given to work with and that I have the grace and opportunity to earn more responsibility and wisdom to make good use of them.

I look toward my "heavenly" family, God and the Angels and Saints for their guidance and prayers.

I look toward my "earthly" family, friends and neighbors for the opportunity to practice Faith, Hope and above all Charity in service to God and others.

I look toward people I may disagree with for the grace of better mutual understanding.

Okay that's enough for now. I could go on and on but I hope you get the picture. I take a little interest in the day ahead and the opportunities it has for me.

God bless you and have a great day! Here's to hoping for the best and working for God's Peaceful Kingdom here on earth.
