Ashes to ashes, dust to dust

Lord of my life

Breath to my soul

What shall I be

When I groweth old

Every day

A gift to be sure

Everything moving

Forward to mature

Ashes to ashes

Dust to dust

Every day

For sure that I must

Trust in Your goodness

Timeless and true

That I can meet Thee

So I can know You

Life is not meaningless

Ev-ery time

I sit and just think of

This simple quick rhyme

Life yes it beckons

Early in mourn

You are my Father

Not someone that's foreign

When time to rest

Is given to me

I sit and ponder

What's happened to me

Past it is gone

Future not here

Now is the time

To draw ever near

Simple my day

Starts here right now

Let me remember

The who, when and how

Let us get moving

Motion and time

Life everlasting

An end so sublime

Here in this world

With beginning and end

Hearts yes once broken

Given time to mend

Adam oh Adam

Life breathed into dust

Mayhem and madness

Were something that must

Have been remembered

And kept in mind true

Till we return to

As dust to thy bosom

Where to, yes where to?
