I am sitting here wanting to post again and the words just don't want to come.
That is alright though.
Sometimes no words are enough.
Just sitting in the presence of God.
Alas though, he is permitting me to writer here now!
Oh how our God is great and good.
I pray to the Holy Spirit now to help me continue on my mission to promote Christian wellness as a follower of Jesus Christ.
I find myself now without a church to belong to and then realized that in fact this whole world is God's church if you so choose to look at it that way.
I am in my little apartment here just relishing the quiet and opportunity to be with and pray to my God.
It is here that I can pray to the saints, yes, to Mary Mother of God, and of course to the Most Holy Trinity.
They all know my secrets both good and bad.
Everyday here on earth is again an opportunity to separate the wheat from the chaff in me and progress toward what ever God wants me to be.
I will hold off on merely looking to the afterlife for my reason for being.
I am pretty sure that He wants each of us to look to Him for guidance in this life.
I say quite clearly on the homepage of this blog that the purpose of Christianity is to set people free.
Here and now, no matter where or what you may be experiencing.
Life is a precious gift and for me that means reaching out to God first in all things.
I am grateful for being brought up in a though quite imperfect, a well meaning and Christian home.
I thank God that I was baptized into the Faith as an infant and I really thank God for reaching out to me Himself spiritually as a young man.
Yes, I do indeed have a family in Heaven but God wants us to live in the here and now.
Finding those opportunities to extend his Grace to our fellow members of humankind.
Some do it in great loud gestures and some in small quiet ones.
I truly believe that we are all striving for the same thing in the end.
Oh what a great gift is our freedom of will.
God ensures of of this and that great gift is also the reason for much of the stress and strife, yes evil in this world.
