All glory and praise to Jesus Christ

ree

Confession: I realize now that I have been guilty of not giving Jesus Christ ALL the credit for whatever I have been able to accomplish in this past thirty years of recovery from my troubles.

What prompted this post? Well, I was recently thrust into one of life's crises and came upon a group of Christians that offered me hospitality and even food from their table while moving forward in my Walk with Him again.

It is through their genuine witness that it is Christ alone that gives us the way to redemption through His loving Sacrifice on the Calvary (Golgotha) that won us our victory as humans over sin and death.

IF you turn from your old ways and welcome God the Father, Son and HOLY Spirit into your heart.

I actually knew that and DID that way back in college in 1988 through the witness of a Christian man that was a soldier and West Pointer that suffered debilitating injuries in an automobile accident not long after he graduated and became an Army Ranger.

He has remained a soldier for Christ since that time and has lead a remarkable life of witness to Our Lord's Saving Grace and power that remains available to all and is offered in Kindness and Mercy to everyone in need.

My friend, who happens to be named Dan as well, would be kicking me in the rear-end right now if I did not EMPHATICALLY not only write this post but give credit where credit is due in my daily life moving forward.

I really was lost and He found me and spoke to my heart.

He continues to do this today when I realize that I am lacking.

I have a long way to go, hopefully.

I love life. It is a precious gift.

Thank you.
