A rambling prayer for life

Here I go

No rhymes this time

Random prayer from an addled mind

I can do nothing without Your willing it Lord

I am nothing

And You are Everything

I wake up and look at the day ahead

My mind is blank for the most part

I ask to take some part in Your life

This world means nothing without your cross and resurrection

I ask that you allow me to shoulder my cross in Your service

A life giving "burden"

Allow me to let go of my selfish will

And welcome Your Kingdom with the fruit of my labors here

You now are seated at the right had of the Father of course

Allow me to serve you in the poorest of the poor here in this world

Remembering that I have been given everything that I value and cherish

Through absolutely no merit of my own

All a free gift of Your boundless Charity

Father, Son and Holy Spirit

One God Holy Trinity

Most Blessed Mother of God

I ask for your prayers and intercession with your Son Our Lord

Don't let me be frustrated by the Mysteries that I don't understand

But let me labor by the simple Faith that Christ truly is Lord and Redeemer

The Word of God made flesh

According to the Creed which You gave us through the Church You founded

To help us carry out our mission and serve You and spread your Good Will

As Your Body here in this world
